Me? I am a Sagittarius true to form… the traveler across all levels, physical and spiritual. I am the adventurer; lover of freedom, openness, honesty and truth. In keeping with that truth, I confess that I want most to play all day long and never be tied down to work. Ha! Don’t we all? My most cherished moments are spent with my wonderful husband of 25+ years (yes, traveling)… walking through the streets of Paris (aahhh) and London. Second to that is the time I spend tucked away in my studio designing and creating.
My jewelry? Color is, without doubt, the primary inspiration for my designs. I’m drawn to beautiful, rare gemstones and specialty beads from various artists. I have a particular affinity toward romantic and enchanting themes which often translates to the use of hearts, dragonflies, butterflies and nautical elements. Metal work and wire wrapping with silver are among my favorites. But I’m also inclined to use natural brass material, stringing and other techniques.
My secret to a great design? Use the proper materials, exert passion and pay meticulous attention to detail. The rest is magic!
